Here in Hydroscand Ireland, we have an exciting opportunity to join one of Europe’s leading Hydraulic Hose companies as a Mobile Repair Technician. The role is based in Dundalk Co Louth with an immediate start for the right candidate.

The Role 

The successful candidate will be part of our aftermarket team, responsible for assembling and replacing hydraulic hoses on customers' machinery in an on-site setting or in our Hose Service Centre in Dundalk. The role requires rotating through a 24/7 on-call shift pattern. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide a customer-first service by offering a professional On-site Hydraulic Hose Replacement Service.

Ensure our safety policy and/or Customer's safety policy is followed at all times.

Damaged Hoses are to be removed from Equipment and produced on-site from your Mobile workshop.

Testing the hydraulic system upon repair completion to ensure Quality & Safety of repair.

The day-to-day management of the vehicle/workshop includes maintaining stock levels and performing routine equipment and vehicle checks.

Build your own client base to avail of attractive commission & bonus structure.

Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner on all on-site callouts. Support our Counter Sales team in the shop when not attending callouts.

Requirements 

The successful candidate must have a full clean B driving license.

Plant or Mechanical background is very desirable.

Manual handling / Safe pass / Quarry pass required (training can be provided)

Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships Excellent attention to detail Good interpersonal skills. You need to Enjoy working in the field, in a variety of industries and Equipment.

Fluent Spoken & Written English.
